Mission

To promote the pursuit of excellence in dressage judging.

Goals

1. Provide education opportunities for all levels of judges.
2. Continue to improve the training of individuals currently licensed or aspiring to be licensed judges.
3. Recognize progressive development of judges.

Objectives

1. Provide educational opportunities for all levels of judges and L graduates through the USDF Continuing Education (CE) Programs.
2. Work with the L Program Committee to carry on with “The Judge’s Box” in USDF Connection to further open communication and promote educational opportunities within the area of judge education.
3. Continue to review/revise the licensed officials training programs, including quizzes and exams.
4. Support the Test Writing Working group in the revision process for the 2027 test cycle.
5. Provide input on proposed rule changes that pertain to judges and judging tests.
6. Streamline communication between working groups involved in judging, judge training, and test writing, including equitation, freestyle, and sport horse.
7. Monitor complaints about judges submitted by USDF members.
